‘Drive Train’ is a term used to describe all components and processes connected to and including the differential, the primary function of which is to control how power is transmitted to the wheels from the engine. Needless to say this is considered an essential function on a racing car.

This year our drive team have been especially focused on working on and developing carbon fibre drive shafts, which are a considerable weight improvement over any metal equivalent.

Additionally the team have also been manufacturing new sprockets, shock mounts, rockers and a chain tensioner. These new additions, along with being substantially lighter, should also allow the car to handle corners in a smoother manner as well as transmitting power to the wheels in a more efficient manner.
