‘powerTrain’ is a term used to describe all components and processes connected to and including the engine and differential/drivetrain.

the primary function is to control how power is transmitted to the wheels from the engine. Needless to say this is considered an essential function on a racing car.

This year we have been especially focused on working on and developing carbon fibre drive shafts, which are a considerable weight improvement over any metal equivalent.

Additionally the team have also been manufacturing new sprockets, shock mounts, rockers and a chain tensioner. These new additions, along with being substantially lighter, should also allow the car to handle corners in a smoother manner as well as transmitting power to the wheels in a more efficient manner.
